What we actually do
A shopkeeper's fridge has to be full on a hot afternoon. That is the whole job.
We hold the stock, carry the working capital, and put cases on a vehicle so that
a shop three kilometres away does not have to shut for half a day to go and
fetch them.
We carry 25+ brands in 80+ pack sizes, across every format a
shop sells from — 250 ml cans for the chiller, PET bottles for the shelf,
returnable glass crates for the tea stall, tetra packs for the school gate, and
20 litre jars for offices and functions.
Our customers are retail shops, kirana stores, tea stalls, restaurants,
canteens, caterers and event organisers. We are wholesale only — we do not sell
single bottles to households.
How we are different
Most of this trade still runs on a notebook and a phone call, and the notebook
is where it goes wrong: rates nobody can look up, an order taken down while
three other things are happening, and no way to know what is actually left in
the godown.
So we built the rate card into an app. A shop can see every brand, every size
and its own slab rate at eleven at night, add cases, and watch the total before
sending it. Items that have run out are marked as finished, so nobody orders
something we cannot send.
We kept the phone call. Every order gets one before it is
loaded — to check quantities against the godown and agree the delivery day. The
app removed the paperwork, not the person.
